It does average damage and is not very accurate at long-range when firing continuously, and it has a zoom. On the other hand, the reload time is a fair bit lower, due to it using the Goldeneye reload animation. Along with the AR53, it is one of the only assault rifles that can be dual-wielded.
As a classic weapon, the KF7 has no secondary function, and there is no in-game description. As with All classic weapons, The reload animation consists of the gun being dropped out of sight and raised back up rather quickly, with a full magazine.
The use of the KF7 in single player is unlocked by getting gold medals in the firing range, as with all classic weapons. Alternatively, the All Guns in Solo cheat will also give you all the classic weapons. In the XBOX arcade remake, the KF7 is available by default in the Combat Simulator.
