The HardSim runs slightly faster than normal, shoots with around 70% accuracy, and will complete objectives in an objective-based game. These simulants are a challenge for a good player and make for pretty good teammates, even against more skilled simulants.
They do have some cheating properties that are associated with all simulants. If they pick up a Rocket Launcher or Slayer, they will fire a rocket directly at you instead of purposefully aiming to miss. They can fire semi-auto weapons faster then a human player, switch instantly between primary/secondary fire modes (especially noticeable when they have Combat Knives), and can reload in less than a second. These simulants can and will utilize the radar.
Hardsims are best used in objective based games. They can be used for combat situations, but against PerfectSims or DarkSims, they are quickly overwhelmed. HardSims, like the NormalSim, will backpedal when retreating, and can realize when they are in a losing situation: low health, low shield, inferior weapon, etc.
