An basic assault rifle that has an proximity mine feature under its barrel.
The Dragon is an assault rifle with 30 rounds. Its fire rate is moderate, and has good accuracy and medium amount of damage. Though performing great, only four levels have it, making it an rare find earlier on.
Its secondary fire features an Proximity Mine feature is useful and is a booby trap - meaning that if a player tries to get one (or step over one), the rifle explodes and can damage its user and teammates too.
The Dragon can be used as an excellent means of stripping one PeaceSim of its carried weapon(s). Throw it away, as a mine, and wait for a bewildering PeaceSim to thoughtlessly try to 'add' it to its collection. Collect your rewards. Rinse and repeat.
The Dragon assault rifle can quick kill an enemy if sustained fire on an target. It is very accurate and is useful for all ranges.
And the secondary function can be used to trick a player into trying add the booby trapped Dragon into thier weapon collection. If they step over one, the weapon explodes and players are killed and tricked. If more players were in the area, they would be killed as well.
The Dragon has little to offer as magazine clip goes. 30 rounds mean that if user sustains fire for too long, they will waste ammo and have to reload again. it is recommended to burst fire instead of sustaining your fire.
The Dragon suffers with numerous faults when thrown down to the ground as a proximity self-destruct trap, the Dragon will not distinguish itself between friend and foe, as it can kill the player's teammates and even the user as well, but the player can still receive a penalty for killing their teammates. This has proven to be a major weakness, as the user of the Dragon would keep commiting suicide when they steped over thier own booby trapped Dragon. Even then, it can be dectected by the K7 Avenger's threat dectetor function.
It is not quiet which is bad news for multiplayer and as it can get players who have good hearing to find your location and kill you.
- DataDyne Research: Investigation - Used by the dataDyne soldiers later in the level.

- In the original BETA trailer, Joanna is seen using the Dragon at the beginning of DataDyne Central: Defection. It also appeared to have the Farsight's scope.
