The Combat Shield is a ballistic deflection device in use by dataDyne forces.

SummaryEdit

The Combat Shield can be used in combination with any single handed weapon. Lowered, it offers the user minimal protection. When raised, it will protect the user's head area. It protects mostly against small arms fire from pistols or submachine guns. It is made of bullet proof glass that retracts into folds when not in use.

The shield was used by the guards aboard the Trinity research platform, as well as dataDyne forces in Africa and Peru.

This saw virtually no multiplayer usage.
